Weekday Programs

Every Day

Story Time: Sit a spell for tales, fables and stories from around the globe.

Feeding Time: Watch, learn and assist our museum educators as they feed and care for our bugs, fish, guinea pig and our fine-feathered friend, Kimba & Soleil!

Weekly Programs

Crafty Kids: Let your imagination go wild. Create a masterpiece using paints, collage stamps, pencils and markers. Tuesdays & Fridays, 1:30-4:30pm

Clay Day: Satisfy a "knead" by working with some air-dry clay and getting in touch with your tactile side. Wednesdays, 1:30-4:30pm

Explore and Discover: Build, learn and find out about houses, nests, hives and many places that people and animals call home. 1:30, 2:30, & 3:30pm

Kidz Cook: Kids can come and be chef for a day. Every week a new recipe to mix & make & taste. Fridays, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30pm

Toddler Programs

Tot's Time Plus: Preschoolers create artwork, sing-a-long, listen to stories & visit exhibits. Adm. +$3 for child. Tuesdays & Thursdays, 11am-1pm

Tots 'n Blocks: Visit Block Harbor to play, pretend, explore and imagine. Adm. +$3 for child. Wednesdays, 11am-12noon

Poco a Poco: Play, crafts, storytelling and more in Spanish for native speakers or new learners. Wednesdays, 10-11am

Music, Movement & Make-Believe: Our youngest visitors spend time moving their wee bodies and vast imaginations. Adm. +$3 for child. Fridays, 11am-12noon

Saturday's Tots: Hard working parents can now enjoy some toddler time on weekends. Singing, creating and sharing adventures. Free with museum admission starting September 9. Saturdays, 11am-12:30pm
